In 2016 Maxwell-Baynes Real Estate were proud to be invited to join the prestigious European Real Estate Network (EREN) as the Bordeaux affiliate. In November 2017 we hosted the EREN conference in Bordeaux with attendees coming from all of the major European real estate markets. The owners of Maxwell-Baynes Real Estate, Karin Maxwell and Michael Baynes attended along with their Bordeaux director Carmina Candeloro.

Maxwell-Baynes Real Estate hosted an evening at the up and coming “Quatre Coins du Vins” wine bar followed by dinner at the esteemed gastronomic restaurant “Le Gabriel” located in the Place de la Bourse – the iconic heart of the city.
The plenary sessions covered diverse themes including an outstanding presentation from Joanna Urwin, the founder of VideoProFrance. Joanna provided insight into the use of video for marketing and in particular introducing interview dialogue to catch verbal key words in Google searches. Michael Baynes the Co-Founder and Executive Partner of Maxwell-Baynes Real Estate gave a presentation on the Bordeaux luxury real estate market and some data from the Maxwell-Baynes vineyard transaction specialist team, Vineyards-Bordeaux.
Luxury real estate leaders take the security of their clients’ data very seriously which made the presentation from Miguel Juan, the co-founder of the S2 Grupo particularly interesting. S2 Grupo are one of the leading online security consulting firms in Europe so their encouragement for avoiding data security threats and adopting best practices was a key take away for the EREN participants.
The conference was wrapped up by Stephane Apelbaum, the Founder of Optimum Vineyard Management and Consulting, who led a wine tasting event, teaching the attendees about the nuances of Bordeaux wines and, in particular, the right bank wines around St Emilion.
