The event was well attended by both the British and French community and carried the Casino Royale theme, adding a touch of glamour to Bergerac airport. Kirsten Pollard said “ It is very encouraging for the region and a real plus for our clientèle that a prestigious airline like British Airways is investing here, providing an easy link for people coming to the region from Central London, including the substantial French population, being that City Airport can be reached from Central London in just 20 minutes, and offering the option for traveling in the comfort of business class. It will also open up opportunities for Real Estate Dordogne based businesses to access the Capital and receive clients in style.”

The British Airways flight takes 1h40 minutes in Saab 2000 – 50 seaters and Embraer aircraft with 80 and 108 seats. City airport boasts that they are the most punctual airport and that passengers will be out of the departure lounge and on the taxi rank within 15 minutes of touch-down. There will also be connecting British Airways flights to New York (business class only), Scotland, Venice and Berlin.
